If you are having trouble starting the free trial, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
- You have Already Used the Free Trial
Free trials are only available once per Apple ID. If you have already used the trial in the past — even on another device — you won’t be eligible again. - No Valid Payment Method Added
Apple requires a valid payment method on your Apple ID to activate any free trial, even though you won’t be charged during the trial period. - You Already Have an Active Subscription
If you've already subscribed, even on another device, the free trial may not show. You can check your status under Settings > Your Apple ID > Subscriptions > App (you want to subscribe for a free trial - Apple ID or App Store Restrictions
Occasionally, issues with your Apple ID, App Store region, or network connection can prevent access to the trial.
