A HomeKit hub or bridge (like Aqara Hub or Sensibo Sky) is a device that acts as a translator between your AC unit and Apple HomeKit. If your AC doesn't natively support HomeKit, you'll need one of these devices set up in the same room as your AC to enable control through the app.
